SW:SE Enters Rebirth period
SW:SE is the one of the longest running Star Wars MUDs, existing in the community for a span of eight years. Founded in 2002, it has gone through several generations of players, and staff and has evolved from a simple derivative of the Star Wars: Rise in Power codebase, to a complex, and content loaded Star Wars Reality. With over 50,000 rooms built, and countless objects, and items - the MUD has a legacy that few Star Wars MUDs can truly challenge.

EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Moff Antor places Sector Three under a state of Martial Law, civic
rights suspended: Immanent major anti-criminal, anti-dissident actions
expected.
ANTELUMA, COMMENOR -- Sector Three High Command, headed by Moff Relic
Antor, has suspended the Imperial Civic Code in Sector Three, which
contains the primary planetary systems Corellia, Duro, Fondor, Kessel,
Melida/Daan, Sullust, Tatooine, as well as Commenor. Moff Antor
declared that, following unprecedented smuggling activity and criminal
discontent, Task Force /Cresh/ will enforce New Order doctrine solely
according to the dictates of the Imperial Security Bureau’s enforcement
code. While no one knows exactly where the Imperial counter-insurgency
will strike first, increased Imperial Navy traffic and Stormtrooper
Corps. deployments leave little doubt that the subversive elements
within the Oversector will soon gain a clear understanding of His
Majesty’s Emperor Palpatine’s justice. Captain Aldrec Travest of the
Imperial Navy, who is responsible for the space-borne aspects of Task
Force /Cresh/, declined to give any information of New Order’s Naval
deployments or schedule, saying only that ‘enforcement is now in
effect’. Squad Commander Belthias of the Stormtrooper Corps., recently
arrived to join Task Force /Cresh/ from Imperial Center, could not be
reached for comment.
