What do you take us for, Neke? This is the ugliest piece of shit I have ever seen!

(had to say it, just because everyone else loved it so much Razz )

But anyway, back to reality. Is there any meaning behind the individual colors? I am assuming these are the hyperspace lanes, or something of the sort?

Also, I noticed that all of the Thrawn era Imperial planets (or most) are clustered together. This is good.

I'm hoping to finally have some more sense and strategy to the way Sectors are organized and the way galactic conquest is planned. With a map like this, it seems feasible that we would have an actual battle front. Good work.

I assumed as such, will there be a separate map for such areas of the galaxy?

Eh. There's only 1 planet currently in Hutt Space, although the Hutts may exert influence over other planets, possibly, such as Tatooine and Ryloth, though these wouldn't be in Hutt space, they'd just have an active Hutt presence.

And yes. Sectors. Although these would be player defined. You would group planets together by their location and how quickly you could travel between them. There would be no sense in the Empire grouping Bastion and Obra-Skai in the same Sector, since they'd have to cross the Galaxy to get there.

Lastly, lets not forget that the NR is just about as weak as the Empire in this timeline. Sure, they have Coruscant and a handful of Core Worlds, but they are only still spreading their sphere of control through diplomacy. There would probably be NR control in the Core and small pockets of influence dispersed throughout the rest of the Galaxy. At some points, you might have an Imperial world bordering an NR world, or a large gap of neutral territory between NR worlds. Carida is one such example.

What relation will Kuat have towards the production of Star Destroyers? If we stick with canon, we have an issue.

How will naturally Imperial planets (Carida, Kuat in this timeline) fare when they are located on the opposite side of the Galaxy?

As far as I can tell, the remainder of the planets are fairly neutral or NR-leaning.

From the list, I'd come to this conclusion:

STARTING PLANETS:

- IMPERIAL REMNANT -

Bastion (somewhere in the corner, location hidden)
Byss - - Shipyard
Dathomir
Yaga Minor - Shipyard
Honoghr
Carida

Possible: Kuat, Duro?

- THE NEW REPUBLIC -

Coruscant
Kashyyyk
Sullust
Bothawui
Mon Calamari - Shipyard
Roche - Shipyard

- NEUTRAL PLANETS -

Yag'dhul
Thyferra
Fondor - Shipyard
Corellia - Shipyard
Rodia
Obroa-Skai
Corulag
Dantooine
Ord Mantell
Bilbringi - Shipyard
Toprawa
Yavin
Bespin
Sluis Van - Shipyard
Kuat - Shipyard

- CRIME-RIDDEN WORLDS / UNDER HUTT INFLUENCE or CONTROL -

Nar Shaddaa
Tatooine
Ryloth (for purposes of spice / slave trade)
Kessel (for purposes of spice trade)

I have a slightly different take on some of your stuff there Ciossk - I'll discuss it with you on AIM and update the list accordingly!

Carida, even when fairly isolated, remained a hardline Imperial world. Not to mention, I'm fairly certain it wasn't the Republic's policy to invade Imperial worlds, but instead defeat Imperial forces on worlds they were clearly subjugating.

Map updated with addition of hyperlane from Byss to Fondor and Commenor.

Provides a second front and a route to Bespin which is the sole provider of Tibana Gas.

Are Serins going to be adjusted to use the lanes? They can be laid out like metro/bus stops now.

For instance, Coruscant to Nar Shadda is:

Coruscant, Kuat, Corellia, Rodia, Bothawui, Nar Shadda

Then the return trip is the exact opposite (so that you can't just appear on Coruscant on one hop from Nar Shadda).
