SECURITY TASKFORCE HARLECH (TFH)

Command Headquarters: Waystation Commenor

Mission Objective: To secure and maintain New Order policies within the boundaries of the Commenor Sector, acting as a unit independent of traditional government control, in an effort to facilitate the Imperial rule of law while eliminating elements that may stand against such.

Background: After the disastrous attempt by Security Taskforce Cresh, the Emperor personally set forth a new unit to enforce Imperial Law. Appointing as its leader a member of his personal staff, Commander Opel was quick to bring things in hand. After securing the remaining assets from STC, Taskforce Harlech has been swift to enforce Imperial law and doctrine.
Where Security TaskForce Cresh included elements of every Imperial division of service and was headed by an Imperial Army Colonel, Taskforce Harlech is almost entirely an Imperial Navy affair with assigned command staff, state of the art fighter wings, and a stormtrooper detachment from the elite 501st with a few political liaisons assigned from the local Commission For The Preservation Of The New Order (COMPNOR). Organized to act independently of the Sector Government, Security TaskForce Harlech has taken STC's place as Commenor Sector's first line of defense against terrorism, piracy, and criminal activities.
